The Australian 3 Days is a multi-day competition with results based on total times of all three days. All days have allocated start times.
NOL / Elite classes will have different winning times each day as specified in OA Rule 16.10.
For the non-elite classes winning times will be as specified in OA Rules 16.9, 16.10 and 16.15.
The Saturday and Sunday events have been designated by the International Orienteering Federation (IOF) as World Ranking Events for M21E and W21E elite classes.
Competitors score IOF Ranking points at these events if they have registered as an Athlete in IOF Eventor, have included their IOF Athlete ID in their entry and their entry names matches that associated with the IOF Athlete ID (check here). Any athletes entered in the elite classes without an IOF Athlete ID should register in IOF Eventor before the Carnival. It is strongly recommended that Elite competitors add their IOF Athlete ID to their personal profile on Australian Eventor.
All events are within approximately one hour’s drive of Goulburn, making Goulburn the recommended accommodation base for competitors.
Moss Vale (and surrounding towns of Berrima and Bowral) is the next nearest location with accommodation
